Thanks to a generous grant, WHISH has been able to put together healthy eating food bags for our wonderful members. These specially curated bags are packed with nutritious and delicious meals, helping to support healthy eating in our community. 
 
Our fantastic new team member, Samantha, took the lead in preparing three wholesome savoury meals: 
 
Mac and Cheese – A comforting classic, made with a nutritious twist. 
 
Tuna Pasta Bake – A protein-packed favourite for all the family. 
 
Vegetable Chilli – A hearty and flavourful meal, bursting with goodness. 
 
But that’s not all! She also included three healthy snack options to keep our members fuelled throughout the day: 
 
Banana & Oat Bites – A naturally sweet and energy-boosting treat. 
 
Cranberry & Orange Flapjack – A deliciously fruity and fibre-rich snack. 
 
Mini Apple & Banana Muffins – A perfect, bite-sized delight. 
 
These food bags have been incredibly well received, and we’ve had some fantastic feedback from our members. Many have shared their appreciation, along with some amazing photos of their meals and snacks. It’s heartwarming to see our members enjoying these nutritious options and making healthy eating a priority!
